outlet This corset is in good condition though does have some discoloration. It was consigned to me from the original owner's daughter along with another similar corset and her wedding dress which is from the 40s. There are some small tears on the inside but nothing truly affecting the integrity of the garment. This is in good condition overall but has certainly been worn and that shows particularly at the frayed edges where it has rubbed. The reason I am estimating this to the 70s is because the tag has wash instructions, which were not required up until that time. This is 50% polyester and 50% cotton. The tag sizes this "AH 42" and I take it to be for a 42 inch bust. With all the tightening available it is somewhat size flexible. Completely laid flat and laced as it was when I received it it measures 38 inches wide and is 16.5 inches at its longest from the top down. Follow me and visit my shop for tons of vintage and Y2K!.
