Six piece lusterware canister set made in Germany by or for White Block JBLS. See that opalescent sheen? This outlet is lusterware. That rainbow gleam is caused by metallic oxides which are added to pottery glaze after the porcelain is baked and enameled. Included in the set: salt box, sugar, flower, barley, tea, flour and a vinegar cruet. The sugar canister has a small crack on the inside lip (last photo included). This set is just adorable and the sheen is lovely!
