For the curious who want to learn something interesting! I want to share with you something that motivates me to create these little pictures.
The illuminated letter and what is it? These letters are found in old manuscripts handwritten on papyrus with a metal feather or a bird's feather. The letter takes its place at the front of the first paragraph. It is always larger than the others and has a color difference from the rest of the text, which is usually black. The illuminated letters are often complemented by animals, plants and mythical creatures which are also gilded. They are finely painted miniatures and play a decorative role on the pages of old manuscripts.
