One Antique Miniature French Hand Painted Icon Portrait of Saints Signed by outlet the Artist / Saint Rita, Therese, Beatrice, Angela or Hubert

This listing is for your choice of beautiful antique original French watercolor paintings of Catholic Saints, circa 1920. These were purchased at a French brocante. Each miniature icon painting is signed by the artist 'J.D.'

These are actual watercolor paintings, not prints. The choices are as follows:

SAINT RITA - Patron Saint of heart broken women, women from abusive marriages, sterility and loneliness. She is depicted in a cloak, kneeling before potted roses surrounded by a barren forest.

SAINT THERESE OF LISEAUX - 'The Little Flower' - Patron Saint of Missions, Orphaned Children, the Homeless and Florists. She is depicted holding a bouquet of roses and a cross and roses at her feet.

SAINT ANGELA MERICI - Patron Saint of Sickness, The Disabled, The Physically Challenged and those grieving the Loss of their Parents. She is depicted wearing a cloak and with a ladder, representing a vision she had of a ladder between Heaven and Earth on which Angels traveled.

SAINT BEATRICE - Patron Saint of Prisoners. She is depicted in chains in a prison with bars on the windows.

SAINT HUBERT - Patron Saint of Hunters, Metal Workers, Mathematicians and Opticians. He is depicted riding His horse, trumpeting a bugle with his dogs running alongside of him. The dogs are by far my favorite part of these paintings!!

Each of these paintings measure 2 1/2" x 3". They have light wear from storage. Saint Therese has some very light creasing in the top right corner, but nothing horrible.
