A beautiful natural New Zealand beach stone from the famous outlet 'Gemstone beach' on the Southwest coast of New Zealand's South Island. This one has beautiful patterns that look like the night sky with our amazing Milky Way Galaxy spread across it. . I have engraved the stone by hand with a Maori koru galaxy design symbolizing two spirits growing together as one.
It also represents our 'Milky way' to connect us with our little place in the Universe.

These naturally shaped stones are found along the wild Southwest coast beaches where they are washed ashore after a long journey down the rivers from the mountains to the sea. This one has been polished in a tumbler and is very smooth & shiny.
They are only revealed to the surface when the earth releases them through earthquakes or erosion & then worn smooth by the energy of the mighty Southland rivers .
The stone measures 3.7cm or 1.5 inches high and across, thickness of stone is 1cm. Hung on a black adjustable cord with secure slip knots so it can be worn long or short.
This piece will arrive in a gift pouch and I include a hand written card with the properties of the stone and symbolism of the design.
