Wonderful 1920s black cloche hat w/feather trim, rhinestone outlet pin Medium size

What an impeccable cloche this is, and with grand 1920s style. An original 1920s cloche hat, its in a jet black fabric that feels like a hardy silk, with an irresistible trim. The crown is very deep, with a very brief, lightly curled little brim; and nestled on the right side is a pair of fanciful feather plumes in ink black and watermelon pink, anchored with a very Art Deco rhinestone studded claw-shaped plastic pin. Wonderful. And in lovely condition and a wearable size, this 1920s creation is ready to pair up with that early drop waist day dress for an irresistible, adorable antique look, starting from the top!

*a medium sized hat, I am of medium hat size and it fits me quite well, but I do have short hair, hence I would estimate it being on the smaller side of medium.*

Labels: No labels. Lined in black glazed cotton.

Condition: This hat is in very good to excellent condition. NO structural damage, NO fade, NO shattering or weakness, it is strong and ready to wear. Stiff crown is sturdy and has a very good shape to dome. Glazed cotton lining is very good, with only flaws being a small foggy white mark, shown in pic, and a touch of wear just along very edge at front, obviously both unseen when worn and very minor in nature. A touch of age to pink plume, and rhinestone pin rests on top of what are likely remnants of a previous base to the feathers, with some very small areas of grey felt peeking out, but see close up outlet pic provided, this can only be detected under intense scrutiny in the hand. Small signs of life on a beautiful original cloche, ready to wear or as part of a collectors treasure trove.
