These chisel guards are perfect for keeping the ends of your chisels protected when used on the bench outlet or during storage in a tool roll. This set includes two different sizes; three of the the smallest size, fits chisels less than 1/2" in width. Three of the medium size, fits chisels up to 1" wide.
They are made from Buttero Leather, a firm Italian vegetable-tanned leather from Conceria Walpier and have been hand stitched with high-quality linen thread. The edges are burnished and wax polished.
They are pictured here with Japanese chisels which are thicker than most western style chisels, so they will work with them as well.
I also offer a large size that fits chisels up to 2.25" wide. If you would like this larger size please message me.
