Digitally manipulated photos of garbage.
By using lots of different filters the garbage is changed into something beautiful. They are printed on aluminium.
Every day I publish a picture on Instagram of garbage that I have picked up and recycled. The garbage is found where ever I am, in the forest, by the sea, in the city, on the mountain. I add several filters to the pictures to change them into something different from the everyday object it once was. I then give them a matching title. I only make up to 40 copies of each individual object, on demand. They are signed and have a handwritten title at the back. The photos can be outlet ordered in the sizes 20 x 20 cm, 30 x 30 cm, 40 x 40 cm or 50 x 50 cm. The prize includes a wallmounting system.
I can also edit a photo that you have taken and make it into a print.
The aim of the project is to make people aware of littering. I pick up the rubbish wherever I am, my Instagram account contains photos from many different countries. All the photos on Instagram are available for purchasing.
