This is my large bonsai pot


I did every step in the making of this pot.
I started with a handful of dust. With some water and heat, I made what you see.
I wired drainage screens in the traditional Japanese and Chinese(Bonsai Originally come from China) fashion. Unlike tradition I like to use a little bit of color.
The outside of the piece is completely glazed, including the bottom. Most artists leave the bottom unglazed, however I prefer to glaze the outlet underside. Like the different color screens, just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it can be done right and with flair.

The outside dimensions are:
10" x 7" x 2 3/4"

Three drainage holes with screens that are wired in place

Slip cast. Glazed porcelain.

This, like any ceramic product, will crack if frozen.
