Richard Briggs inherited "The Old Corner Store" in 1861. He continued the tradition of importing fine porcelain and ceramics. Because of the prestige of his store, companies began making items for his store. This is one of those items. We believe based on look and feel of the porcelain that it is French (Briggs had many items made for the store in Limoges).
