It also represents the Louisiana purchase Exposition which lasted from April thru December of1904. Many people don't know this occured at the same time as the fair in St. Louis and they were celebrated together. On it is pictured Neptune and a beautiful mermaid. Also are the dates 1904 and 2004. The lovely bldg represents the exposition for the architectural history of our country. This is indeed a rare piece and will be cherished for years to come.
