These swirled knots where used a lot in victorian jewelry as a symbol of love and friendship. This antique center piece was once a brooch. It has been upcycled to a stunning bracelet.
Swirled knot is gold filled with raised design. It has a centered Opalite cabochon.
I used modern opalite strands strung on vermeil wire and used a antique gold filled watch chain to make up 3 strands. The antique watch chain also has a subtle raised design.
I created the ends using gold filled wire and made the ring for the toggle closure.
The toggle is made from an antique gold filled cufflink that was only a single. It also have a raised motif.
Bracelet is 7 1/4" long. I can add jump rings to make it larger at your request.
Swirled knot with opalite measures 7/8" round.

*Opalite beads are 6mm round.

*Opalite is beautiful synthesized glass, often used as a stimulant for man-made opals. Opalites are great for healing by color-therapy with their clear, milky, and iridescent hues that seem to change when seen from certain angles or in different lights.

*Vermeil : sterling silver is covered in a layer of gold that's at least 10 karats and 1.5 microns thick. To the naked eye, vermeil looks like pure gold. It can be polished for a glossy look or left to tarnish for a hint of vintage style, which makes it a versatile addition to your jewelry collection.

Please expect some loving wear since it is old although it looks pretty darn good.
