North Wind Patchwork Quilt top, circa outlet 1893

8x10 12" blocks in North Wind pattern, brown, beige, soft pink
TOP ONLY, hand stitched. The tag information attached to the quilt says"

"made before 1893 by Maude Brown of Greeley County, 15 miles from Sharon Springs, Wallace County, Kansas. Made was 18 years old when she made the cotton top, Maude died 4/25/1893 before finishing quilt"

This quilt top was found in my sister's quilt studio. She was a buyer of old quilts, some needing repair, some ready to quilt. She never got around outlet the quilting this unusual quilt pattern. It seems to be good condition, ready to be sandwiched and quilted.
