Fabulous and rare dark red kid leather compact. The lid is bright red enamel with applied silver birds in flight outlet. The inside of the compact is natural kid leather that isn't dyed. There is a little powder puff inside. This simple design of this '20's Deco compact is unique and special. The leather inside and out is still soft. It closes tightly.
It is in very good vintage condition with only 3 little nicks in the enamel, one to the right of the middle and two to the right of the bird at the top. The mirror has marks on it that look like it is dusty. It measures 2 1/8 inches across the bottom.
