Ring is plated in black gold, underlying metal is solid yellow gold which was revealed on lower band during acid scratch test (please see accompanying photos of acid test where 10K acid drop on the right did not break down the yellow gold sample and 14K acid drop on the left did successfully break down the sample indicating presence of at least 10K gold). Iridescent opal is genuine and SO brilliant. Accent stones are cubic zirconia. Ring fits closer to a 6.25. Total weight is 4.24 grams.
