'The Ascension of Jesus' Holy Water Font

Holy Water font has been a popular Christening Day gift to godchildren and grandchildren since the 1800s and continue to be popular up to the present time.

This vintage holy water font, circa early to mid 20th century, is crafted out of pewter and made by artisans in the GSW foundry located in Germany. It is incised on the reverse with the mark 'E.P.U 109 Europe ZINN' and the maker's mark 'EDLES ZINN.' Zinn is the German word for pewter. Measures 7-3/8" tall x 3-3/4" wide Produced circa 1970s.

The receptacle is very clean and appears unused. There are no structural defects, no cracks, no breaks, no fissures, no dings, and no repairs. In Excellent condition. Weight before packaging is about 8 oz. Sans original box but will ship boxed via USPS First Class Mail.
