This Battery and Amp Module is perfect for your projects with limited space. LiPo based battery running 3.7V max (28Whr) and using a boost converter to raise the power voltage to 12.8V for optimum power.

Specifically designed for a sealed (non ported) BlueTooth boom box.

This 1S4P type battery arrangement allows you to charge with a basic cell phone type charger that provides 5V. This is a great system for people on the run that want a small compact system that is easily portable. Kit comes with a charger and cable but any charger cable that works with a android phone (MicroUSB) will be able to plug into this system.

The Battery and Amp module contains:

MOUNTING BASE: The core of this kit is a proprietary compact battery mounting flanges made from a strong and tough thermoplastic. The battery base is held into your project with four (4) 8-32 button head screws, two screws from underneath the base and two from the back of the base.

BATTERY: Battery is a rechargeable Lithium Polymer unit comprised of four parallel 3.7V pillow cells (1 pillow has 2 parallel battery packs) with battery protection systems . Battery contains at least 25Whr and will provide roughly 20 hours of use when mated to the BlueTooth Amplifier Module (see other offering on this store). Battery protection circuit protects the battery from over discharge and over current.

CHARGER: USB based charger at 5V at 2A. USB to micro USB charger cable included. The charging board is a 1A max charge rate which provides stable charge rate for your batteries. Multiple levels of battery management will prevent overcharging and provide you with a long service life.

BLUETOOTH MODULE - The TSA2110A Dual Channel Amplifier Wireless Digital Bluetooth 4.0 Audio Receiver Amplifier Board. The amplifier has well balanced class-D architecture and can drive any 4Ω or 8Ω passive speakers. The board is rated at 8W RMS per channel (16W RMS total) of very clean power and requires at least 2A (at 12V) source for full power. I have found that with decent coaxial 4 ohm speakers this is more than enough power to fill a large room or shop.

Amplifier BlueTooth designation to be defined by customer. Name must fit within the number of digits allowed by firmware.

BOOST CONVERTER: Boost converter raises the battery voltage to 12.7V for best sound and efficiency from the amp. Peak voltage is adjustable but must not exceed 18V or it will damage the amplifier. Boost converter is pre configured.

SPEAKER: Includes a single 3" or 3.5" Dayton speaker with a 12" speaker lead. Speaker comes with mounting hardware. Additional spring clip and sheet metal screw mounting hardware will also be provided. The spring clip method is often used in a blind mounting position or if into soft plastic material.

POWER SWITCH: On/Off Rocker Switch is a SPST (single position / single throw) switch which controls all power coming from the power supply. A custom designed mounting bracket made from thermoplastic with heat set threaded brass insert is also supplied. A stainless steel 4-40 socket head cap screw is provided as a set screw to secure the rocker switch firmly to the mounting bracket.

WIRING HARNESS: A complete wiring harness is provided for the project. The harness is fully assembled and is ready to mount into outlet your enclosure. Disconnects will be available at several junctions to allow easy disassembly for your build.
