'Under His word' was created in 2003 and since that time, I have been making quilts with Bible verses on them that mainly pertain to the healing scriptures. The idea was that you literally get under His written word and read it daily like you would take your medicine daily. This quilt was made to give to someone who really needs to hear God's word on healing.

Since then, 'under His word' has evolved to other Bible verses but still staying true to the original calling. I take pride and care in each quilt that leaves my Raleigh studio with my name on it. They are prayed over before being sent on their way to bring hope and comfort as only God's word can do.

This quilt is not a full size quilt...please note size. But it is large enough to be under and be able to outlet read the written Word. Only premium cotton is used in the construction of each quilt. This quilt is lined with 100% unbleached cotton flannel and the back of the quilt is one piece of teal colored cotton flannel. The front displays bright, vivid colors. This is One of a Kind...meaning you may notice the fabric in other quilts, but no others are made exactly like this one. It was designed and sewn by hand and machine and I don't think you will be disappointed in the workmanship. The binding around the edge is a 4-fold and was hemmed by hand.

This would be a comforting gift to give to someone in need or to keep for yourself. These quilts are great gifts to give someone in the hospital that may not have access to their Bibles. Plus they are gift that last longer than balloons or flowers.
