Vintage 1960's Late Actress Lois Hunt's Estate outlet Cortley Clothes Tailored for Frank A Stith Co. Winston Salem Reynolda Manor

Look out fellas! Here is a vintage suit jacket/blazer by "Cortley Clothes, Tailored exclusively for Frank A. Stith Co. Winston-Salem, High Point Reynolda Manor" that can be dated to the 1960s! It has no size tag, so please use the measurements provided to ensure a proper fit.

100% wool. Has a traditional herringbone weave of brown with subtle bits of orange, green, rust red, purple and blue throughout.

I found this amazing blazer/jacket at the estate sale of the late Lois Kelso Hunt, most famous for her role in "The House on Sorority Row". She had many costumes and wonderful clothing throughout the bedrooms, and I assume this belonged to her husband. It actually seems to have been worn the most out of all of his suits and blazers, as it outlet has a bit of piling throughout.

("Stith and A. F. Moses went into the ladies' ready-to-wear business, then sold it to J. N. Davis. Stith worked for N. L. Cranford and Company, a store specializing in clothing for men and boys, for about six years. Then he went into business with J. H. Smitherman and R. B. Horn, and eventually Stith and Smitherman purchased the entire interest and established Frank A. Stith Company in 1911.

The business was first located in the 400 block of North Trade Street, then it moved to 13 West Fourth Street. The next location was at Liberty and Fifth Street, then the business moved to Fourth and Cherry Streets in 1931. A store was organized in High Point at a shopping center in 1961, and another store was opened at Reynolda Manor Shopping Center.")
