Connie, I was told has a wonderful memory of attending a Grateful Dead concert with her favorite aunt too when growing up. Hippies were a huge part of the 1960's. My custom designed centerpiece features the cutest hippie girl you will ever see and a happy couple who certainly enjoyed the era.

The space race and moon landing grabbed headlines too. I could not help but animate the moon landing on the base of the heart.

I used a heart slate base which I decoupaged and then designed and built the main centerpiece decoration. I reversed a small wood piece to resemble a vase and used wire with green beads as a stalk to hold up my hand painted flower. Don't miss the attached leaf charms too.

I was not sure this design would work but it does.
