This vintage wooden kitty cat coin piggy bank is adorable. It was handmade in Japan and was originally musical, although the sound no longer works. The bank dates to the 1970s and would make a wonderful gift for a child or look cute on a shelf.
Condition:
It is in good vintage conditions, but does has some flaws from the years. There are some small cracks to the wood on the sides, but this appears to be a normal sign of age to these, as all we've seen show this. The sound no longer works (also typical in other examples of this piece) and one of the plastic eye covers is missing (left outlet side).
Size:
Measures about 5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide, and 2 inches deep.
