A HIGH END DESIGNER BROOCH FROM DAYS GONE BY. Gustavo Trifari was an Italian immigrant and arrived in the USA in 1904. Residing in NYC he founded Trifari in 1910. Mr. Trifari later established the Trifari Jewelry Company in 1918. Considered one of the largest and best known producers of costume jewelry, Trifari has produced some of the highest quality and imaginative styles from the 1940's sterling vermeil figurals to the numerous classic pieces in toned gold and silver.
