This is a really charming pair of kitchen storage jars with lids. Designed in the style of ancient pharmacy apothecary jars, they are very shapely and attractive to display.

Decorated with a hand painted floral design and the words Thé and Café.

I don't have a clear idea of the maker, one of them is signed on the base, possibly a D but I'm not clear about this.

I am pretty sure these aren't original Art Nouveau, they are more likely to have been made in the 1970s or 80s but they have a charming apothecary aesthetic with an authentic pharmaceutical aesthetic.

They will look really wonderful on display in a French vintage theme kitchen and are clean and practical for use. They may also be a great prop for any period production.

In VERY GOOD vintage condition. There is only one tiny chip to the glaze outlet of one of the bases but no cracks or other damage. Please see all the photos and remember they are around 40 years old, pre-owned and pre-loved.
