I am offering a Large Rare Compact Case!

Scarce Large heavy Eight pointed star shaped compact case.

Gilt Brass top is ornately embossed with an animal in the center. Not sure what type of animal. It looks like a mixture of a fox/deer/weasel. Very unusual. Surrounded with flowers, a cluster of grapes and leaves.

Silver plated metal bottom is engraved in with the same animal and decorations.

Double hinged top and closure are nice and secure. back and snap shut closure work fine.

Inside top holds a round mirror. Inside bottom is stamped as follows and shown in 9th photo:
