this is a totally cool FX Plasma Ball light. This particular model is one of the earliest and finest examples of outlet the plasma globe. Produced in 1987 by 'Designs In Mind' this awesome novelty light has a clean, sleek design. Has a removable three sided top enclosure which allows for various display options. The on/off light density control on the left side will turn on the unite and allows you to create and control between one and hundreds of lightning and plasma forms. The plasma ball also responds to your touch - as your fingers come into contact with the sphere, the lightning bolts will be attracted, as if by magnetism, to your fingers. The switch on the right side is the sound sensitivity control. When switched on this allows the unite to pick up sounds and responds with a fantastic light show, depending on the intensity you set it to. Very well made and still works even after more than 25 years. Does have minor scratches on outsideFX Plasma ball light It measures 12” tall by 8” wide.
