1930 14" outlet Platter Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles Brown Multi Color Transfer ware English China Scalloped Edges Cantebury 1794c

Presented for sale today is a 14" serving platter by Johnson Brothers in the outlet 1930's. This is the Old Britain Castles pattern. It features the Canterbury Castle 1794 as written close to the bottom of the right hand side of this platter. This pattern is highly collectible of the pieces mad by Johnson Brothers and the larger platters are hard to come by.

Measurements are: 14 inches by 10 1/2 inches

Note: This platter has a bit of crazing and discoloration, however this is normal for the age of this antique and vintage china and is to be expected. It is displayable and very useable as well and if it was in perfect condition it would be priced at at least $175.00.
