Toziel's outlet Tarot: Five of Cups

Good friends and loyal customers,

I'm pleased to announce that I have begun rendering my own Tarot Deck based on the systems of Crowley's tarot. Instead of crowdfunding for production costs based on promises and well wishes, I've decided to take an alternative approach and offer something of value in return for your contribution to my production costs: As I complete individual cards, large scale versions will be made available here for purchase- and all proceeds from the sale will go to funding the initial production run.

At current pace, I expect production to be ready to proceed by June of 2023.

Astrological Analog: Mars in Scorpio, First Decan (0 to 9 degrees)

Theme: Expectations run against the grain of the circumstance. Pain as a catalyst for new perception outlet. Consequence of assumption.

Positive qualities: Recognition that reality bears no responsibility for desire.

Negative Qualities: Bitterness and blame, retreat, and anger.

General: Expectation of growth dashed by an assumed fertility that wasn't.

Profession/Economics: Failed projects. Assumed gains materialize as losses.

Relationships: Individuals not living up to the projected ideal.

Environment: Dashed hopes. A reality of poor prospects.

Visual Description: The Five cups are arranged in the form of the inverted pentagram. Despite popular use of the icon, in this representation it is intended to describe the conscious act of putting energy toward material expectation despite the immaterial longing. The Cups, though appearing to be gold – are clearly anything but. As a result of Martian energy being applied so vigorously through Scorpio and afflicting the cups, we see that they now rust – which gold physically cannot do. The background is one of rusted iron, a consequence of watery scorpio's demands of Mars, whose metal is iron. In the center is an uncomfortable, writhing scorpion that has shed it's carapace – now vulnerable with it's fragile (yet strong) muscular structure completely exposed.
