Serial No. 321268 (I have it written on light stick tape on the back so I can keep track.) Another fine and inexpensive 35mm film camera from my collection. The Canonet 25 was introduced in 1965 and was aimed at the hobby shooter on a budget. But it aint' cheap by any stretch. It has very highly regarded lens and produces excellent images with a shutter preferred auto function that makes it perfect for street photos. VERY quiet as well. It doesn't feel cheap in the hand and has some heft to it compared to modern cameras. Shutter speeds range from 1/15th to outlet 1/500th of a second so great for portraits or sports action and plenty of room for creativity. This camera has been cleaned. lubricated and adjusted. The viewfinder is crystal clear with a well defined focus "patch". It has a short throw focus ring so focusing is quick and effortless. There is no case with this one, but a mint original lens cap is included along with a new battery.
