Galaxy [long] hand painted batik silk scarf, indigo navy background with galaxy nebula colours and white wax outlet textures doubling as stars.

A beautiful hand painted artisan batik silk scarf, with hand rolled edges. Made from Habotai 8 silk, this scarf was waxed and hand painted by myself in vibrant Procion dyes. The silk is lightweight and can be worn as a neck scarf, head scarf, or anything else you can think of.

I build colours by starting with plain silk and applying layers of wax and dye to create these lush colours and textures. Each piece is unique and lovingly made. I update my shop as I make, so look out for new designs and colour combinations.

Cold wash on a slow spin speed or dry clean only to maintain the vibrancy.

Please iron on a low heat.
