Kreiss Vintage Mermaid Bubble Bath Bottle MCM outlet midcentury

This ecru and a gold mermaid is too cute perched on top of a bubble bath bottle…and outlet holding a pearl.

I don't know with certainty that this bottle is intended to hold bubble bath, but it was a thing back in the day and that's what it looks like to me. What I do know is that it's really cute.

The bottle has a faux marble pattern with gold shell and scrollwork embellishments.

There is a chip on the underside of the bottle stopper, a few rubs in the gold and a crescent moon shaped indentation from manufacturing on the rim of the bottle. The rim also has some pronounced crazing and some cork is missing from the stopper but it fits quite snugly. Unmarked, by Kreiss.
