Royal Haeger Irish or English Setter Dog Sculpture

From the 1950's era or perhaps 1960's, this figure of what looks to be an Irish Setter is in excellent condition and is seemingly scarce ... not too many of Haeger's dog figures surface too often.

I gather this is an English or Irish setter ... am I correct?

The form is marked on outlet the bottom, as shown in the image.At Basic Details we describe all items fairly and accurately.
