This Victorian brooch is a stunning testament to eras gone by. This locket on the reverse has a panel that can be removed that was designed to hold hair or a photo. This was often used as memorial jewelery used to remember loved ones.

This brooch is not hallmarked but tests as sterling silver.

This brooch has had modifications, as it appears that the original clasp has been replaced. The replaced clasp has been upgraded to a locking clasp with a functioning leaver.

There is one small silver ball that is missing from the middle sprays. It is difficult outlet to notice. I usually wear this brooch as a pendant worn length wise and it goes garner attention. People often remark on the intricate details of the hand carving, and the milligrain detailing.

Due to the missing ball and the replaced clasp the brooch has been priced accordingly.
